To celebrate National Curry Week (22nd-28th November 2009), Visit Birmingham and Birmingham City Football Club have teamed up to develop a very special Blues curry in order to cement Birmingham once and for all as the UK’s curry capital. They have enlisted Blues players James McFadden and Franck Queudrue to captain two teams from University College Birmingham and guest chefs from Lasan Restaurant to go head to head in creating a BCFC themed curry. The event will take place at 2.30pm today at University College Birmingham.
Birmingham looks to cement its reputation as the curry capital of Britain
