Enjoy ‘cream tees’ in Devon

Devon may be famous for cream teas rather than tees, but now you can enjoy the cream of the county’s golf courses without breaking the bank.

The South Devon Golf Tour packages, based at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club, start from just £139 per person for two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast, with 18 holes on both Dartmouth courses and a choice of any third layout.

The breaks include a round on the resort’s Championship course, unlimited golf on the nine-hole Dartmouth course and one round on a choice of China Fleet, Bigbury, Dawlish Warren, Dainton Park and Churston or for a £40 supplement the renowned Bovey Castle.

Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is located just four miles from the historic town of Dartmouth and is the ideal base from which to explore the delights of south Devon, with Dartmoor, the River Dart, fantastic beaches and a host of picturesque towns and villages nearby.

The resort boasts refreshing three-star accommodation with 35 tastefully appointed rooms, great-value bistro dining, a lively bar, a leisure club – complete with indoor pool, gym and sauna – and service levels that belie its rating.
