One of the great groups of the 80s, Simple Minds are back with their “Greatest Hits Forest Tour” kicking off at Delamere Forest in Cheshire on Sun 3 July 2011.
The forest tours will see the band playing their classic songs around the intimate surroundings of various UK forests as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music season.
With such classic songs as ‘Alive and Kicking’, ‘Sanctify Yourself’, ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’ and of course the massive hit ‘Belfast Child’, the tickets are set to sell out fast, so we recommend booking early.
This isn’t just another has-been band trying to cash in on former success. Simple Minds never really went away and have been performing sell out concerts in places like the Birmingham LG Arena for years and released quite a number of new albums.
