3 Harbours Seafood Festival in Scotland

Filed under Eating & Drinking, Events

Back but bigger and better! From 28th May to 5th June 2011, the 3 Harbours Seafood Festival will celebrate Scotland’s rich fishing community, industry, culture and heritage. It will once again be held at the Greenbelt, Prestonpans (10 miles east of Edinburgh) and will host a plethora of seafood culinary delights. The arena will host up to 30 seafood related stalls – freshly caught seafood, cooked seafood and other food and drink stalls that directly relate to seafood – fishing tackle, vegetables and wine to eat and drink with seafood; it will also host an art exhibition and arts n crafts marquee, all selling handmade goods and children’s workshops – again all relating to the sea and seafood. This enhances our motto – Art in Unusual Places.

The music tent will feature some top bands and showcase local young bands and talent, as well as providing an opportunity for local community groups to take to the stage on the Sunday – this includes drama, storytelling and dance.
