How about dancing away in fancy dress on the Isle of Wight as a great way to end the Summer? Bestival is a music event where each year there’s a new fancy dress theme chosen and everyone gets into the spirit of things.
This year it will run from 8th-11th September 2011. There will be 18 stages offering live music as well as DJs, pop stars, rock stars and – new for 2011 – even a roller disco ballroom field and swamp shack!

Sounds like a good way to spend a couple of days. I only heard of this recently, but since we live in Southampton it’s close enough to make it worth taking a look.
